Make-up Item of the Day: Concealer Edition

In addition to my love for apparel, I also love, love, love make-up. One of my new favorite products I wanted to share with you is my concealer. Please keep in mind that any make-up blogs will never profess to be cheap alternatives, I tend to spend a moderate amount of money on cosmetics, but I do stand behind the products I invest in and will post here.

Today is my Too Faced, Absolutely Flawless concealer.

It sells for 20.00 a tube at toofaced.com; however, I usually buy it at Ulta for the same price since I can just walk in and buy it off the shelf rather than order it online.

It is a great product mostly because it has full coverage. I suffered horrible under eye circles when I was completing my thesis for graduate school. I was stressed, exhausted and also suffering from bad allergies. This stuff only takes a dab and covers anything dark right up. I have olive skin, or as my mother calls it "cheap skin" since everything shows up. This stuff, a miracle.

For those of you who prefer a pressed concealer as opposed to this liquid, I also have good things to say about Benefit's boi-ing. I used this product religiously up until a month or so ago when they didn't have my color at Ulta. Desperate for a new concealer, I tried the Too Faced product and thing I will probably stick with it.

Word to the wise: If your issue is puffy eyes or dark circles, remember that none of these products are miracles and a lot of reducing that appearance is technique. If anyone is interested I can blog about tips to reduce this appearance upon request.
