Love Culture - Window Shopping

I think I hit the jackpot this time! In my search for more cute, thrifty priced online stores, I have found a lot of good ones. However, I think Love Culture may be my newest favorite. Not only does this website have a huge selection, but the prices are far better than Pink Ice. For instance, anything I found at Pink Ice for 20, seemed to be almost half at Love Culture. Plus, I think I like some of the patterns and fabrics at Love Culture better. I will provide below some of my faves. Please keep in mind I stopped early on searching the whole website because a post including everything I loved would have been out of this world in length. Enjoy!

1. Pink and White Collegiate Cardi - $20.90

I really love fashion tops, but when it comes down to it, cardigans are a staple for me. I shouldn't even lie, not just for me, but I have a sister two years younger than me and a pair of twin cousins, a year younger than my sister and we essentially have more cardigans between us than Old Navy carries in the store. In fact, my husband often teases us that one day he wishes to see the maximum security vault that houses all of our cardigans.

I guess the issue with cardigans is that they are somewhat hard to find for what I want to spend. I see cardigans like I see little t-shirts and tanks, they are a basic. So, given that, I want to spend basic item money on cardigans because I know I will buy at least one white, one gray and one black one in the same shopping trip if mine are on their last leg. Up to now I have been shopping at Old Navy for my cardigans exclusively. I like the way they fit and they always have a huge selection. However, I saw this cardigan at Love Culture and felt that the color was very vibrant and the length was appealing. They also have a similar cardigan with black stripes and red stripes. The price is possibly the same as Old Navy, but I would venture to guess that you aren't going to see a million and a half people wearing this one compared to what you could buy at Old Navy.

2. Faux Snake Skin Leggings - $11.90

I'll admit, I don't own a pair of leggings to this point that have a pattern or texture, just one pair with little zippers at the ankle. However, this pair may change my mind 'cause they are too fun. I know it is hard to tell from the picture, but if you visit the website you will see, they do have the pattern and it is a bit shimmery. If you wore this with a leather cropped jacket and maybe a long tighter fitting white shirt, it would be adorable. You could probably also pair these with a longer tunic with a simple pattern. I would try it on first before taking my word for it though.

If you are looking for a super cute and edgy pair of leggings to wear out at night, these are really a great pair and I think the shoes they have the model wearing go really well. The offset of textures for the shoes and pants really adds a nice flare.

3. Floral Scarf - Right now it is $5.99, BOGO

Now this is a great deal! Buy one get one free on certain scarves! I happen to really like scarves, but I am terrible at putting them on. I know it isn't like rubbing your head and patting your tummy simultaneously, but this is just one thing I am terrible at doing. I often have to have my sister fix my scarves so they look normal. Still, I can't stop loving them and this floral scarf was a winner in my eyes. It comes in a couple of other color or pattern choices as well. You may even be able to wear this scarf with the snake skin leggings to mix patterns in a subtle, yet fun way!

4. Beige Peasant Top - $23.90

This shirt grows on me and then I am over it fairly quickly. I can't decide if I love it as much as I did when I first saw it. This is why...upon first glance it is a super cute shirt. I like the fit, the color is okay and could be spruced up with good accessories, but some of the detail is a bit off-putting. It is almost as if you better buy this shirt with a perfect outfit in mind because one wrong choice will turn this shirt from country-chic to frumpy. Still, I added it because I think it is unique enough that with the right handy work it provides a great style challenge.

5. Shoulder Jewelry - $14.99

One of my guilty pleasures to watch is Jerseylicious. I find the show pretty ridiculous, but I
should also bite my tongue because I watch it all of the time. I think part of it is I really like some of the accessories I see and their drama is addicting. While watching one of the episodes, I noticed that one of the make-up artists, Olivia Blois Sharpe was wearing a shoulder accessory. It was only on one shoulder and looked like a captain shoulder almost. The picture here isn't it, but it should give you the idea of what I mean by shoulder accessory.

Well, while searching through Love Culture, I found the necklace pictured below. I thought it was a really unique and fun way to tone down that style.

6. My Mind Are Playing Tricks On Me Dress - $18.90

This dress is a cute find I found. I like it because although it is tight to the body, it isn't one of those shiny spandex dresses, it is more a cotton looking fabric that will be a bit more complimentary. The stripes are really fun and you could easily wear some eye popping colors to make the dress more edgy. Try wearing more dramatic make-up or bright colored shoes.

7. Hannah Shirt - $21.90

I call this the Hannah shirt because it reminds me of the shirt Hannah wore on Pretty Little Liars a couple of episodes ago. I apologize because my picture from the episode is awful, but if you watch the show you should remember which shirt it was. She tied this long and loose tunic off with a brown leather belt. Although this shirt is shorter, the same thing can be done here. I also like the vibrant red for that look.

8. Turquoise and Brown Tribal Scarf - $10.90

I had to add a second scarf to my picks because this scarf was my favorite out of the options. I love turquoise and brown together when the turquoise is really bright and the brown is not muted. The pattern is very much in style and it would be adorable with a variety of color choices. Personally, I would probably wear it with a white shirt and maybe a jean jacket so that the scarf can stand out!
