Urban Original - Accessories

As mentioned in previous blogs, I am generally weary of accessories from online stores. This is mainly because you can't assess the quality of jewelry or purses. However, I don't always categorize my scarves or belts in that category unless size is an issue. My suggestion is to be careful, don't buy unless you can either be confident you will wear it or you can see a sizing chart. Here are some picks from Urban Original that I found today.

1. Blue Crochet Scarf/Shawl - $3.50
For the price, you can't really lose anything with this piece. It is a wide scarf that can be worn as a shawl or a hood. I love the blue also, it is very vibrant and looks super comfy.

2. Brown Leather Belt - $24.10

This belt caught my eye right away. I like chunky belts with cute detail and this belt fits right into that category. The studs add some personality, but I have to say it is really more an accessory of fashion rather than function. Since it has to be worn over your belt loops, you have to have a pair of pants that stay put. 

3. Brown Flower Earrings - $7.20

I actually have a very similar pair of earrings that my sister made for me. They are really cute and diverse and the length should be perfect to hit at your neck. They are light weight and the design is super cute. 

4. Suede Elastic Chunky Brown Belt - $11.30

This belt would probably be cuter if it fit higher up for cinching looser tops, but I think the elastic can allow you to buy it a size smaller for that purpose. I love that it does have the elastic and the chocolate color is beautiful.

5. Red Floral Scarf - $13.60

I'll admit, the other color this scarf comes in is cuter. However, I was really put off by the model. She has such a cold look on her face and I felt it kind of ruined the soft and feminine quality of this scarf. Still, I would go check out the other color because I think you will love it. 

6. Beige Bow Bag - 39.50

Aside from hearts and wings, I really like bows too. My assessment of this purse is higher than usual for one this price. The quality looks pretty good and the detailing is fun. I couldn't tell if the bow was sewn in, so if you do purchase it, it may not hurt to check to ensure the bow will not slide out. I have a purse where that happens and I just sewed it in place. I also like the size of this purse. I guess I have a very mom-like quality to me in that I carry my essentials everywhere. If someone is in need, 9/10 times I have what they are looking for. So, if you carry your life in your purse, this should be a great size.
